4.1.1 NApplet using native-JAR lib loadingWhen opening the Client jnlp (client.jnlp) to open the Java client.
Jnlp Unable To Load Resource Full Stack TraceIs it likely that, if they couldn't, this would be the error they saw?Another question is whether it has to do with some proxy settings. (Also I don't have a full stack trace - I can get the admin to re-run it and copy it if needed).Naturally, one question is whether the student can create the Java WS cache folder and write to it. She then signed in as a student and received the Web Start error below:( 0.1.0-20090303.212837-934)As you can see we're using versioned jars, although in this case it should(?) be irrelevant, as the student account won't have any older jars. As I am not at that computer, I am trying to work out a list of likely problems, ways to test for them, and solutions. An admin logged in with admin rights tried launching our JNLP using Web Start and succeeded with no errors. Normal-Applet using native-JAR lib loading The example program just draws one triangle that fills a fixed-size frame in a web page. You can see online examples here: JOGL Test AppletsDocumented Examples using the Object/Embed tags: JNLP Error: Unable to load resource (jar file) with limited student account - Java Web Start & JNLP Hi all,I am trying to debug a problem that is happening in a school with our educational software. Demo on jausoft.com and modules on jogamp.orgA short copy is included in the static page JOGL Deployment as a New Applet. We'll use the same triangle-drawing base class for this example that we did in the Java Web Start example.I had sumed this was an error with my pcIt might be (and probably is), but they have probably already dealt with it, and will be able to tell you what to do.Whenever you are dealing with another entity (in this case a website) and something unexpected occurs (in this case an exception) always ask the other entity involved, first. I had sumed this was an error with my pc Daveb wrote:Firstly i apologise if this is in the wrong place, i am new hereSecondly, i dont know what to ask them. Have you asked them? firstly i apologise if this is in the wrong place, i am new hereSecondly, i dont know what to ask them.Make sure that you have the correct permissions on the RCS server.3. Make sure that you are specifying the correct path in RCS to your file.2. That is likely because your program is trying to access the RCS server on a system that is denying you access, or else the file you are requesting from RCS does not exist.Your stack trace shows that you are using RCS:1. Doesnt seem to make a diference which version of java is loaded I'm not exactly an expert at this, but it looks like maybe the java program in question was expecting a file that you don't have on your laptop? Hi Daveb,The exception is EOFException, which means that an unexpected End Of File was encountered. Thanks for thatI am however fairly certain that it is my laptop which is the problem, i can log in from my pc without a problemAny ssistance would be gratefully received Daveb wrote:Any ssistance would be gratefully receivedUpgrade your JDK? Find an email address on the site somewhere (I can guarantee they provide some sort of contact info) and mail them the error and see what they have to say.Jnlp Unable To Load Resource Download The ClientYou might try to re-download the client if this is the case. RCS is often times running on an OS that is case sensitive.I however do not know how to take the steps you suggestI am told by the forum st the site that there should be no problem with acess sounds like maybe this site requires that you download some kind of client in order to use it. My guess is that you are not specifying the correct RCS path, or are not using case-sensitive path names properly. Wavepad register codeJava.plugin file in my home directory and although it reads the info in JRE_HOME/lib/security/java.policy, it seems to loose it almost immediately and not grant any permissions set in the default policy file.Any help with this particularly thorny issue would be welcome!I am also stuck up with the same problem. However, the same operation in Netscape 6 does not grant the Applet any permissions - and I get security exceptions when I try to perform a restricted operation such as accessing the filesystem. After a bit of fiddling around, I have realised that Netscape 6 does not read the information in the.
